One a 2-wheeled motorcycle, which is best between chain, belt, drive shaft or

Best for what? Different drives for different purposes.

Motogp bikes (AFAIK) are 100% chain drive. So if you want to go fastest around a race track chain is probably the way to go.
Well, I have street bikes as well as dual sports with all of the three. I find each have their advantages and disadvantages. I ain't into racing (in fact, I ride like a little old lady compared to most other riders) so the power loss of a shaft is not a big deal to me. The main thing to me is reliability.

AFAIK, no shafts yet on any electric motorcycles. Perhaps a driveshaft would decrease the range by too much.

I think shafts so far have been my favorite of the three. But I am interested in seeing how the "none of these three" will work out. I assume that can only be done on electric motorcycles as the wheel then must be the motor too.

I agree a chain would be best for the race track, but that isn't my thing.

Agree 100% - That "rim drive" to me is more "interesting" than a great leap forward. Looks like it adds some swing arm weight but what do I know. Maybe it's awesome - LOL...

Well, what little snow we had this winter is pretty much gone. I only used the little single-stage snowblower once mostly because I wanted to get mine and the neighbor's sidewalks and driveways done before they tried to do it. My snowmobiles have sat idle all winter. I'm glad that I didn't register them when their registration expired! I guess I have no excuse not to start to work on the bike and do them little things that I've been putting off.

Wait. What?

It's January and winter is over in Alberta? I thought winter ran until, like May up there - LOL...

Yeah, agreed, it's a totally useless motorcycle.

OTOH, it seems to me a lot of people buy motorcycles to look at instead of to ride.
