IMO, Elon caused most of this problem, not so much the truck itself, but it too has some issues, much like any new design.Funny, they were the darlings in October.
Yeah, I could not make a lot of sense out of it either. I realized there had to be more to it than I was reading in that MSN article.Looks like another Tesla hit piece in the media, it sounds like Tesla may have contracted with the owner of a closed mall to store their Cyber Trucks in proximity to their new showroom. The article reads like they just parked the vehicles at a close up mall, and the city is has sent a You are not allowed to do that letter.
p.s. as to the popularity of the Cyber Truck, I see more of them on the road around here than any other Tesla model

And per the actual news report it's actually the Farmington Hill officials that are "fuming", not City of Detroit. The actual headline just says "The City" and makes no mention of Detroit per se.Conflicting information in the article,

Exactly so what, one of our local small town car dealers stored their cars at the local fairground for a few days a while back while their lot was being repaved. This isn't even an EV thing. Every car builder has lots covered in their vehicles awaiting shipment, sales, etc.
So this one is not secured and someone took a video. So What...LOL
Go back to the root post read the title of the link. And per the actual news report it's actually the Farmington Hill officials that are "fuming", not City of Detroit. The actual headline just says "The City" and makes no mention of Detroit per se.
You think the complaints could really have more to do with Elon and Tesla than anything else?Yes, how dare a land owner do something to make some revenue off their otherwise vacant property
Are you forgetting this part? "Officials say the electric vehicles violate zoning codes and are warning the property owner."You think the complaints could really have more to do with Elon and Tesla than anything else?
What if it were Chevy trucks parked there instead? Would anybody even notice?

I wonder if only Elon's "electric vehicles" are capable of violating those zoning codes . . . . .Officials say the electric vehicles violate zoning codes and are warning the property owner."
