The worst day of fishing ....

Hadn't been fishing for a couple of months. We've had near perfect weather, but the boss has always managed to find something still on the honey-do list. Today, while the boss was shopping, I slipped out for a couple of hours. Caught several black bass on Senko's. Tried other lures, but the Senko's were the only thing that worked.

It felt goooood to be on the water and wetting a line.

Tom, you are getting to be a real bass fisherman!  No more of this drag for stripers stuff, but put it in the weeds and feel the bite!

Sometimes beggers just can't be choosers and we have to take what we can get. The weather and the water have been just great this week and I couldn't resist tossing a lure. But black bass just don't have the fight of a striper, trout, steelhead or salmon of course.
