Thetford toilet leaks at foot pedal when flushing

2023 Grand Design XLS 23LDE.
This toilet only leaks when flushing and even then, just a couple drops.
However, we don't want it to get worse.
The leak is coming somewhere from underneath where the foot lever connects.
My guess it is somewhere inside and just getting out through that area.

So, should I just replace the entire valve setup or try to find the gasket?
Should I pull the toilet alltogether?

Any other thoughts and suggestions?

Remove the screws that hold the foot valve cover then determine if its the valve ,or the hose connection,, proceed accordantly..>>>Dan

I will do that. unfortunately I will not see my rig for a month as it is in storage. So stay tuned lol.

The valve for that toilet sells for under $15 on Amazon. I’m guessing they’re not designed to last forever. Well, nothing in the RV world seems to last forever does it?

I replaced my valve with the kit from Amazon took less than then a hour. Go utube to see how it’s done

I appreciate the link and helps me solve one of my questions. Since my unit has 42050 on it, i was only seeing the 42049 options you show in the link.
