For the last several days it has sometimes been taking as long as 5-10 seconds after clicking on links/posts, etc. to get a response, vs the almost instant that I used to get, and it's always slower than normal. When the response starts then it fills the page normally, but it just takes a while to start the response. On at least a couple of occasions a link shown in the bottom status line of the browser includes something about an ad.

My browser is Waterfox (a Firefox derivative).

Haven't noticed it Larry, but I'm on a DSL line. Speed is relative, and there are lots of things that can affect it. I'll leave this thread here for the folks who can look at server-related factors.

I'm on an Xfinity connection at home with around 180Mb download speeds, using a Chrome Browser that is fully up to date and it affecting me too....very slow when compared to the normal almost instant loading that is normal for me. The Grand Design forum is doing the same thing. Other places I visit are not experiencing it....places like FB, etc

I concur, log-in was very slow, content refresh is "painfully" slow LOL. other sites i visit load at normal speed.
at this location I have a 1 gigabit fiber line.

I've passed it on to the folks who can deal with it &/or respond.

I too am seeing slower page load times and I'm on a high speed fiber connection. I'm seeing very minor slow downs on a few other sites too, but the difference on RVForum is major. From my perspective, the data transmission is still fast but there is a noticeable hesitation before it starts. To me that suggests a delay in response from some single precursor page or file, and once that is retrieved, everything else is fast.

I'm assured it's being worked on; No need for more me-too's.

It seems to be resolved....both this forum and the Grand Design forum that I moderate on are pretty much back to normal. Time is approx. 12:44 EDT
