Small super C's (Ram 5500 cummins, Ford 4500 and 5500 powerstroke, GM duramax) can tow 10,000-15,000 pounds. I'd be shopping used versions of those. Dynamax Isata 5 or Renegade Veracruz. Possibly Nexus Rebel.

Do a google search for freightliner super C. My dream camper. Have talked to a few owners. They all love them.

Very much appreciate the feedback! Ok, Thor class C is. How about Thor super C or others for a larger towing capacity? Don't think we can swing new so looking at used up to 6 years old.

A benefit to buying used is the original owner has suffered through the first year or two correcting new RV issues. Do your due diligence in buying used and you can come away with a win-win.

OP, make sure you test drive Super Cs as some can have real harsh rides and rattle apart the whole coach. I do like the Renegade Veracuz and some of the other SCs based on the Dodge chassis. There are some also based on the Ford I believe 550 chassis with the Ford diesel worth a look at.

Class A DPs tend to have a considerably better ride than the Super Cs do for similar operating costs. They also tend to be more quiet in the driver's seat (less so in the bedroom when under way). That air ride is special.
