[Loving God's Country!]

Hello all! We are heading to the region late June and will be staying at Kring State Park! I'm in the middle of planning and I'm finding it's easy to find out information on the major attractions in the area but what we also like to do is to find the hidden gems, the out of the way things to see and do in the area! Any recommendations on towns to explore, antique shops or restaurants to visit, sites to see etc.? We've been known to travel up to 2 hours away from our campsite hub so anything you can think of would be great! Thank you in advance!!

Do you have documentation to enter Canada. There is a drive in movie in Alexandria Bay that's pretty good. Antique Boat museum in Clayton is good and does boat rides for a fee.

We've stayed at Swan Bay Rv park 3 times for a week at a time. Lots to do there. What we do before arriving is we do a Google search for "things to do near 1000 islands, ny. You'll get a list of literally hundreds of places to go and things to do (cruises, restaurants, castles, museums, golf, fishing, boat rental, shops in town). We have yet to be disappointed ..
