Tips for Camping at Aguirre Spring in August With a 28 Foot RV

So others do not have to look it up.

Aguirre Spring Recreation Area and Campground

Link to Google maps location

5.5 miles from the turn off of US70 to the campground, paved road.

There is a caution about the road... RVs can camp in the campground but should be aware that the 5.5 mile road up to the campground becomes narrow and winding. Due to safety precautions for vehicles, the recommended max length for RVs is 23 feet.

Google street view is available all the way down the road to the campground. Use a desktop or laptop to scroll your way along the road to get a better picture of what you might encounter.

Will have to file this away in the memory bank for the future.

We stayed at a passport America spot in Tularosa. I think it was Mountain Meadows which is also a Good Sam park.

Valley of Fires was nice but a bit further out maybe.

Lots to do there.
