Staying at a WalMart lot,
pretending it's not for long.
I'm on a long haul trip,
no time to find a campground.
Put out the fake grass & BBQ,
then lawn chairs and slideouts.
But it's alright now,
I tell the story well.
I can't convince everyone,
but I convinced myself.

LOL Cliff, I thought you were the composer. The unmodified version looked like it might fit "Garden Party", but your modified (rhyming) version might better fit "Baby you can drive my car" (can't recall the correct name of that song).

Doesn't count Tom we were not there and so many others weren't either.  I cast my vote for you to sing Waltzing Across Walmart as part of the Moab entertainment ;D ;D.

Well, we did at the Plymouth rally, although it was a bit of stretch. Dee was so many octaves higher than me and her then-husband Larry had to change all kinds of stuff on his keyboard to accomodate my base.
