approx. how much does the jeep cherokee weight....4x4 is towable right?   

The Grand Cherokee weighs approx 4500 lbs,  The Liberty approx 4300LBS.  Yes 4WD GC and 4WD Liberty are towable 4 down.  Recreational towing instructions are in the owners manual.  The 4WD Wranglers are also towable.

I tow a 02 HOV8 GC. Got it from a member here. Thanks Dave!! We love it. Tows behind the gas Southwind easily with no mods.
Its fast, roomy, AWD so it goes anywhere, and I can tow my 6Klb boat with it.
Try doing that with a car.
