Toyota Brake Controller on a 2026 Tundra

Upgrading to 2026 Tundra for my TV. Wondering if anyone has experience with the Toyota brake controller

I have not used one but have a friend who likes his. It takes input from your truck’s brakes and sends a proportional electrical signal to your trailer’s brakes, adjusting braking effort based on how hard you’re braking the truck. It is connected to the vehicle’s main computer, and it allows you to adjust brake gain and view status on the Multi-Information Display (MID).

Well, I took a test run with the new Tundra and the TT after getting the WDH adjusted to the new receiver height and better payload capacity. I am very pleased with the Tundras brake controller and overall handling
