Just brought an Avenger 26BH TT, pulling with Chevy 2500HD.
Any thoughts/recommendations between these:

- Reese weight distribution hitch with "Trunnion Bars"
- Equal-i-zer weight distribution hitch

Appreciate your thoughts,
Wil

I use an Equal-i-zer and love it. I know the Reese "Dual Cam" also gets high praise from it's users but I don't have any personal experience with it. Both have built-in sway control.

I also use Equilizer and love it. It's a breeze to connect and disconnect. The sway control works great and you don't have to disconnect it when making sharp turns. It is a little noisy when the metal on metal rubs, but nothing a little grease can't fix.

The Reese model you want is the Dual Cam, or Straitline Dual Cam.  Excellent units.  My Dual Cam ran me for some 20 years on two house trailers and a heavy boat trailer and 3 tow vehicles.  The money spent was thoroughly amortized.  :)

Both the Reese and the the Equal-i-zer are excellent units.

Have you looked at the Blue Ox Sway Pro? They work great and are absolutely quiet.
