We've just joined TRA in Aug. It does sound good for the way we camo.  We were to we get discount camping in the resorts that are part of the group.  No one mentioned there were certain times of the year, peak season, when we don't get the discount. That's not good for the way we camp.  Has anyone ever had this problem and what can be done about it?  Thank you

Did you pay the whole thing up front or are you paying over time? They will bug the hell out of you & make all kinds of threats & even sic collectors on you & try to ruin your credit...we know, they've tried it with us until we got an attorney to help us get out of the contract. RUN, don't walk to get help. Not giving you all the details about how/when/where you can camp is your edge. We could never get in to our "home" cg, not ever...they'd over-sold the space they had and local, seasonal had the cg booked up. Sorry to bring you this sad news.

We were traveling back to Florida from Georgia and decided to stay at Luna Sands, Travel Resort of America Campground and take advantage of their offer of a 4 day 3 night stay. Yes, we did the sales pitch thing and they were very nice when we said we weren’t really interested. We did receive 3 certificates for 7 days each at any of their 8 eastern locations and a $50.00 gift card that we used for dinner that night. Now comes the problem…..seems that you can’t easily use those vouchers for free stays. You have to call a reservation number and they can only go out 30 days to look for availability, and of course no availability can be found. There’s no way to look on line at available dates so it’s really Hard to plan a trip and utilize any of these vouchers. And they do expire after one year! Anyone have any luck with this??

Not an unusual problem with those deals and tough to work around in the busy season, and this summer is supposedly super-crowded. I see complaints about reservation lead times everywhere. Might loosen up in another month or tow. Or not...
