Travel to Moab

The Dobrins will be leaving Goodyear Thursday morning on the way to Moab. Plan on stopping Thursday nite at Monument Valley, the reservation campground or Gouldings. Anyone traveling that way or overniting? Let us know and we'll meet up.

The Fitzgeralds and us will be arriving Portal the day before you depart Goodyear as will the Brinks.  We have been exploring the area around Huntington for the last three days.

Jones and Griefer families will be leaving CA 4/26 with planned stops at Elko, NV and Springfield, UT. Plan to arrive Moab 4/28.

Lawrences are leaving Cortez Friday and traveling all the way to Moab (120 miles from home). Nice to have a short trip.

We arrive in Moab tomorrow (Wednesday) after two nights at the McPhee Reservoir outside of Delores, CO (just north of Cortez).  Looking forward to seeing our western friends again - it's been too long!!!

We too are leaving Yuma on Thursday and plan to overnight ?somewhere around Flagstaff on Thursday night. ?We will be at Monument Valley Indian Reservation campground on Friday night and Saturday night. ?Terry wants to go to the restaurant up by Gouldings and have their Indian Fry bread. We are due in at ?Portal on Sunday. SO if you are at the Indian campground or Gouldings on Friday night or Saturday we will ?be able to meet up, otherwise we miss you by a day and will catch up at Moab! ?

Ned and I are at Blanding until Friday morn.  We plan on having breakfast at Old Timer's Resturant here in Blanding on Friday morn before heading for Moab.  We are staying at Blue Mt RV Park on the south side of town.

To all staying at Monument Valley on the way to Moab if you haven't taken the road through Valley of the Gods north of Mexican Hat try to do that. It is very impressive and an easy drive.? Ned and I enjoyed it as much as Monument Valley.

How was McPhee? Any water in it? It's been so low the last few years, it was more a river than a reservoir. Did you stay at the COE park overlooking the old marina? See you on Friday.
