Greetings and Salutations,

I'm interested in purchasing a travel trailer that would be less then 30 feet long to be towed by a ford f150 with the max trailer tow package.  I would like to stay under 6500 lbs ( the lighter the better)  2 bunks couch and queen size bed are a must now since we have smaller kids.  Your recommendations are appreciated.

Gracias amigos

We bought a rockwood mini lite 2509S for all the reasons you listed.  Very happy with it.

There's simply no short cut to going out and sitting in a lot of trailers (consider 50 as a starting point). You'll rapidly determine which floor plan suits you best, something no one else can do for you.

Scott is exactly right.  You can shop on line and look at floor plans, but there is no substitute for sitting in a camper and mentally using it to see if it works for you.  The right floor plan for your situation is the most important factor in getting a camper your family will love.

Read LOTS of threads on here and other sites.  Get educated about RV everything.  You will find answers to questions you never knew you had.
If you do not know more about a particular camper you are interested in than the salesman, you are not ready to buy.  Thankfully, this is not hard to do.
