You gotta love Tri-mark el-cheapo basement latches.. First they use cheap base metal and make the high stress point on the striker bolt the weakest point on the striker bolt, Then, when the bolt breaks so the latch will not un-latch........
Took me less time to "Card" the lock than it normally does to select the proper key.
(OF course I have done this before and knew just which two tools to have in my hand when I started)
It's all fixed now (I hope) but.. Those are some secure locks when I can open them with nothing mroe than a flashlight and a pair of forceps.
