Want to travel this week (Nov 15) from Fort Worth TX to Baltimore MD to see kids. Hopefully might arrive by Thanksgiving weekend. Our first real trip, so we have not yet traveled in cold weather. Trailer is supposed to have a cold weather package - sealed bottom, tank heaters, etc.
Planning southern route on Interstate I-20 from Ft Worth to maybe Atlanta, GA. Question - should we head north on I-85 in Atlanta GA, or should we continue east on I-20 to pick up I-95 in Florence SC? Want to avoid mountain travel, snow and freezing temps while on the road. Seeking your experience and recommendations along this route.
