We have a 2007 Alpenlite Cheyenne 350 with an 8' bed over cab. We'll be pulling the truck out from underneath while we stay at Yellowstone to see the sights. Plan on sleeping with it off the truck as well. She'll be resting on Atwood electric jacks. It's been off the truck plenty with no problems, but this is the first time living in it. Feel a little concerned about the stability. Thinking about a tripod. Anyone had same scenario/ ideas?

You could always lower it down so it sits on the ground or on a couple of boards that’s if your jacks will retract that far

Yes. I plan to lower it, but still a little concerned about it possibly tipping forward. Our combined weight is approx 280#. Camper almost 3K.
