Norcold N811 on a 2018 Motorhome... so relatively new.  Worked like a champ until now.

Not cooling on AC or Propane.

Checked Thermostat and it is 7,400 Ohms and goes to a lower value if I hold it.

On gas, I hear the flame running constantly and the pipes are hot.  Have not tested pipes with AC, but had it on AC all night and never chilled.

What is a definitive test to know if it is the cooling unit?

Is a cooling unit, either going to work or not?  Anything to troubleshoot?

Leaving for the weekend, but will definitely be checking this.  Our fridge is now a cooler with ice :(

If the heater (gas or electric) is running but it's not cooling at all, the cooling unit is a goner. The pipes should be hot above the boiler (where the heater is) but no more than warm on the return side.

Thanks.

So...  We arrived to our destination.

Plugged in under power and within 30 minutes could tell it was chilling.

I ruled out the controller when it had heat on ( both AC and Propane) but didn't chill.

Any ideas on intermittent?

It takes a very long time for any cooling to happen.  24 hours even.

I know it takes a long time to reach fridge or freezer temperatures...

Are you saying 24 hours before it even starts to lowers?

What causes the length to vary?
