Use RV Generator for Back-Up Power

Have you ever actually looked at an installed manual interlock? They're not easily damaged unless deliberately done for who knows what purpose.
This I know but remember I started a thread some-people-are-just-stupid.

I hate to read this kind of thread. Less than 2 days after reading it we have lost power. So I had to pull out the generator and fire it up. I have a 50 amp inlet on the side of the house and a 50 amp breaker in the panel. I have a lockout plate which was installed when the electrician upgrade my service.

What? You've never been tempted to destroy the lockout plate just for the fun of it??? :)
