Wait to winterize or not... :(

We have a camping trip planned for 10/31-11/3 and was going to winterize right after. If there is a night or two below freezing between now and then, would that be enough to do any damage, or should I just winterize now and do our trip without water?

thanks!

I would have supplies on hand (2-3 gallons of rv antifreeze) and monitor upcoming weather. Your smaller TT will be rather easy, provided it has winterization prep kit (ie bypass) Not all newer ones come with it, maybe double check now.

I went and winterized it yesterday, I poured 3 gallons in the fresh tank and ran it through everything from there. I do need to get a hand pump to pump some of the antifreeze through the city connection. I just wanted to get it done so I didn't end up waiting to long. Going to see if it has a prep kit or not, if not that will definitely be a project for the spring. Still going camping, just don't have water, I'm fine with that..

Most of us drain our fresh tank, flip a bypass by the pump and suck antifreeze in there through a bypass hose. We do this after we first drain the lines with low point drains, and also drain and bypass the water heater. They way you did it may not have removed enough water to start, and antifreeze might be too diluted to be effective.

Another option is to blow the lines out with air. You can travel with a full tank, just don't run water until you're past the freeze days.

Just my 2 cents advice is worth what you paid for it.:)
Living in ND; never worry about lines freezing until it gets to about 28 degrees for more than 24 hours continuously.
Just did ours the way Spencer mentioned above yesterday. Weather is still great here, but we're done for the season. Takes about 10 minutes to run the antifreeze, so even if we would decide to go again, flushing system and then redoing it is simple and antifreeze costing about 2.50 a gallon, 7.50 for supplies ain't too bad. Better safe than sorry. You'll never regret doing too much maintenace.
