WalMart campground?

They removed the overnight parking signs in Cortez a few years ago. There’s almost always. Couple of RVs parked there overnight. Well, except in winter

The first time I parked along the grassy bank furthest from the store so I could extend my slide over the grass. Scared the heck out of me when, in the middle of the night, the sprinklers came on and started spraying the bottom of the slide. Closed it quickly enough that I didn't get any water intrusion.

Very nearly the only time in the last forever that we have rented a space at a cramp ground was for a rally. I just don't see any sense in buying something I don't want or need.
The big exception there was when we stayed at Fishing Bridge. We wanted to be close to things so we didn't have to drive forever to get to the day's location of interest.
But then, we are travelers and going to place to see things and leave when we are done.
