Want to get a used truck camper

I'm retired and I just bought a 2019, 2500HD Chevey Silverado with the idea of buying a truck camper.

My idea is to use it in the warm months to go camping in the backwoods, but to also camp at the beach between
surfing sessions. Prefer a pop-up to reduce wind resistance.

I'm new to the truck camper world. Who are the top manufacturers of truck campers? Thanks

Norrthstar and Alaskan are also well recognized in the field. What part of the country are you in? They seem to be more popular on the west coast so units would be more plentiful.

Considering you have a 2500, watch the weight of the truck camper. Some of them are really heavy and can overload a 3/4 ton.
