I just recently purchased a 2025 Maverick to tow 4 down behind the RV. The truck itself is nice and is towable. The problem is that with the 2025 refresh the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) radar was moved on the vehicle to a place where it is in the way of current brackets that fit under the bumper.
Blue OX has a two piece bar that is usable with the correct tow bar. There are questions about the Blue Ox baseplate putting the connection points to wide out and at an out angle. One owner did a hard brake and the weight of the pickup bent the brackets out and stressed the welds. The owner didn't know about the requirement for the correct tow bar. Hopefully a warning has been added to the purchase of the baseplate to prevent this from happening again.
Demco is in the process of designing and retesting a new baseplate for the 2025 Maverick that goes around the ACC radar module that was moved this year lower and in front.

Lucky for me, I purchased a 2025 LTX with pretty much everything but power/heated seats and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). Mine can still use the tow brackets designed to fit 2022-2024. The Lariat Package has ACC and the new radar location. You may be able to get by with getting a 2025 LTX without ACC like I did. Verify with the dealership or look for the option on the window sticker. If you want the power seat/heated seat (drivers only) and the heated passengers seat get an LTX with the LUX package, heated steering wheel included.

Update to this post. Blue Ox has finished engineering and installing the new 2025 baseplate on the test vehicle. The new brackets are expected to be available for sale 1 April 2025. The number of the bracket and downloadable install instructions are on the Blue Ox website.

I just bought a 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid. When I saw the "Neutral Tow" mode mentioned in the manual I started looking for more info, although I hung up my keys (to RVs) a couple of years ago.

Since I don't normally come to this particular forum section (towables, etc.) I started to make a post in the General section but the forum software told me about this post, so I'll comment a bit here.

In effect, it's a car chassis with a pickup body, very comfortable to drive, and in the few days I've had it I've seen mileage from 37 mpg to 52 mpg. The "miles to empty" section on the dash was (with the dealer's fillup) 489 miles when I drove off of the lot. After putting on about 120 miles it now read 547 miles to empty- evidently the electric mode is very effective locally (short 65 mph segment, mostly up to 55 mph including residential).

Anyway, I just wanted to mention that, were I still towing with a motorhome I'd give this unit strong consideration (now that a base plate is available) instead of a Jeep Wrangler, though the Maverick isn't going to do some of the more serious off-roading that a Jeep will, but it seems a great unit for that.
