Hi ,
I really don’t know what to do do I had major issues with my 3 month olds trailer (walls opening , water leak….) I took it to dealer second time for repair after he damage some things last time and order parts to repair it is the Same dealer that I got it from . This time I told them in writing and spoke to two of the workers one was their warranty specialist and one of their managers not to do anything until he evaluated and I know what is getting done and evaluate what is going on .
1. The dealer is working on my trailer without my consent .
2. Dealer is not sharing with me what he has done as well as he changed the look of the RV by putting different pieces on .
3. Dealer don’t want to cover things that he damaged last time and things that need to be under warranty.
Is there any one who felt with this before ? And where do I go solving it ? Any lawyer recommended?
Thanks everyone.

I did . They said they can’t talk on behalf of the dealer why they started to work on it and that most of the things are under warranty, he agree that there is a way fixing their floor damage without doing any changes as well . They seems to do what they want with my trailer .

No , I said that I need to know what is their plan and what are they going to do before doing anything as last time they damaged my floor and other things. I had to go back as I had issues with things that they install as well .

When I take my RV in for service I get one of the employees to watch me as I walk around the coach and take pictures of the entire RV.
That way when they damage it I have proof they did it.

Had a problem once where they did some damage to it but they denied doing it so now I can prove it.

You haven't mentioned where you (and the dealer) are located, so I don't see how anyone here could make a recommendation. The state laws will be crucial, especially if the state has a lemon law that applies to RVs. You also need to contact the manufacturer if you think the dealer is not fulfilling his warranty obligation properly. Your warranty if from the RV manufacturer, not the dealer.
I think you best approach is to contact your local bar association and ask for names of attorneys that handle this sort of lawsuit, i.e. breach of warranty for vehicles. You can also Google something like 'RV warranty attorney near me" and see what you find.
Warranty complaints are always messy because there is nearly always language in the warranty that gives the manufacturer wide discretion in how & where the repair is done.

we are from Montana but the dealer is in utha . I did contact the manufacturer they said that some of the things should be under warranty but what they damage is from the dealer . I will call the bar here and see who they recommend for those issues . I don’t believe they can fix things under warranty and do it as they wish so my trailer dies not look the same, and they definitely don’t have the right to work on it after I asked many times not to .

I had the same problem when i had my 92 Ford pickup. Everytime I took it in for warranty repair theere was damage done by the dealer. I spoke to an attorney and he advised me to take pictures and/or videos of the truck when I dropped it off with the service manager at my side. Got a real attitude, but also no more damage.
BTW, he was going to handle my case free of charge since his daughter had been going through the same thing at the same dealer.

Sorry you’re going through this.

You might reach out to your state’s Attorney General and file a complaint to see if they can help. Often times, they will write letters or nudge a business to do the right thing on your behalf, or they may put you in touch with a decision maker at the manufacturer or someone who can oversee and supervise your claim with the dealer.

I will definitely try that Monday morning.
Thank you so much
