Warranty Options for a Stationary 2015 Rockwood Ultralight

Hi, I am trying to find a warranty company, for my 2015 Forest River Rockwood ultralight, that I am going onto 3 years with and so many things have been breaking down (am new at this!)

The issue I am dealing with now is my kitchen sink is leaking, it needs a new one.

I am in an RV park in SC, and do move or travel with it.
Any suggestions on an affordable haha, warranty company that might work for me, would really be appreciated, thank you!

Good luck with that. What they call an extended warranty is really an insurance policy and they rarely ever save money, no matter what is insured. You would be much better off to learn how to do your own repairs. Very few companies will even write one for a 10+ year old RV.

Are you saying that you do travel with it, or that you do not travel with it?

Opinions certainly vary on this subject, but we have had extremely good luck with extended warranty companies in the past - including one that over the six years we owned the fifth wheel...they paid out more than TWICE what we paid for the extended service. Another that we had paid probably 75% of our initial cost and personally it is worth it to me NOT to have those "gotcha" surprise expenses. The problem I see is purchasing the policy AFTER the purchase of the RV, rather than simultaneous with purchasing the RV from a dealer. That may be a bit tricky and there may be a waiting period before they'll pay for anything.

But, it's worth a try if you're so inclined as I tend to be.

There's no such thing as an aftermarket warranty; it is a service contract, including the fine print that sets the term and conditions. None of them cover expendable items or normal wear and tear; like faucet washers/cartridges, brakes, filters, etc.
Much to the chagrin of the closing office personnel, when we bought a service contract for this MH that had been stored in a barn for 8 yrs, I sat in their office and read every word of the contract before signing. As a result no claim was ever denied.

Save a step and just work with a contractor/handyman directly. "Warranty" companies don't employ anyone except sales and bean counters. Consider that even a "covered" repair may not be to a standard you would be happy with. The guy you pay a hundred bucks an hour to come to your place will do it any way you want. At the end of the day a hundred bucks an hour at your discretion will likely be cheaper than the cost per month a month you'll pay to be "covered". Go to a sticks and bricks box store like lowes or home depot, pick out a sink and set up an install.

That is how I did most "House" stuff. Modern Vehicle stuff I'd rather not do myself (some I can some I woudl rather not) I've had two policies.. One did repair a drive shaft issue on my first Jeep but the 2nd reneged on their promise to fix my current jeep... I was able to take the hit.> But I got to file a false advertising complaint when the current battles (political) are done.

I am grateful for ALL of the wonderful responses that I did not expect to receive.

My concern when I posted my question, was about warranties, and the majority of the answers I received, had the same viewpoint for my particular situation, which totally makes sense!

I want to say Thank You to everyone that helped me understand what I am dealing with, so that I can make the right decision.

I really am impressed with the amount of knowledge, and the willingness to help others find answers, and I know where to return when I need guidance, because it truly can be overwhelming to someone who does not know what they are doing!!
