Water and waste tanks

I saw a post where the owner said he could use the toilet in the winter if he flushed it with a gallon jug of tap water. Won?t the waste tank freeze?

In order to freeze a waste tank it would take a very low temperature for a long period of time. A large body of water takes much longer to freeze than the tiny amount located in a water line.

You can pour some RV anti-freeze in the black and gray tanks to lower the freezing point.

It will freeze.
So as long as it thaws before you want to dump it

It can freeze, but will not hurt the tank, maybe...  There should be plenty of room for expansion.
