Water flow after winter

This is my first after winterizing experience. I just filled my water tank, and am trying to use faucets etc. I can hear the pump, but no water is coming through the faucets. Am i being too impatient or do i need to let the pump run a long time to "build up pressure"?

It should pick up fairly quickly. Are you sure you have the winterizing valves back in the right positions?
