I plan to install my new direct spark Dometec water heater today, not sure Ill finish but Ill do my best. A few questions?

Ive installed a new water pump as well, removed/cleaned and installed my fresh water tank, the system is empty.

What do I need to do to prime the system if anything? before turning on the heater?

Im assuming I fill the system via the outside port that dumps into the freshwater tank.....or if I were to connect my garden hose to the connector on the other side of my camper wouldnt that also fill my freshwater tank?

Im not familiar with the system.

Seems I dont have any more slots for another connection, I dont want to buy a converter so Ill assume its safe to double up on something?

My old water heater was pilot light version so I wil need to run new wire ( not sure what gauge yet ) from the water heater to the supplied switch and a power source.

Thanks

IMO, After everything installed, put water in tank.  Turn on pump.  (if it simply will not draw water, you might need to prime pump) Oldschool way, turn on cold, suck on a facet to get water pulling up, once pump gets wet, it will start working correctly.  Let WH fill up, so have hot facets running for a while.  Open the pressure relief valve on WH to let air out of WH.  Once water starts flowing from that valve, close it and water WH is then full.  Make sure water is flowing nice from all facets, might flush toilet etc.  Check for leaks.  After everything is working correct, Then proceed to fire up the WH.  Before you do that, I would turn on propane up front, crack the connection at WH, and let the air purge through the gas line.  Once you smell a propane odor, seal your connection.  Let air out for 10 minutes before you try and start.  Oh ya, don't be smoking during that last bit of advice  ;)  Double check for gas leaks.  Put soapy water on ALL gas connections, while propane is on, and all lines under pressure.  THEN, fire up WH.

I would not prime till I finished hooking up the water heater.

To prime
Fill supply tank... Turn on pump.. Open faucet (both hot and cold) when you start getting water (mixed with air) Close the cold. in about 5 minutes you should have a steady flow. and water heater is filled.

I appreciate all the replies the water heater was much easier than I thought it's already done but I forgot that I'm still waiting for propane regulators and some wines so I'm not going to fire anyting up today probably the beginning of next week thanks again though

It's still fine to get pump working, water working, H & C etc.  The propane and heat is just another thing to do.
