attached is a picture of my Atwood water heater on my 2017 class c freedom elite fe29, were is the anode rod for this heater, i think i know but i just need someone to confirm it for me the lower left hand corner with a pet cock on it .
 
Stop looking. There isn’t one. Atwood does not use them because the tank is made different than a Suburban. I also understand that if you did install one, it may void any warranty
 
Attwood tanks are aluminum so they don't need an anode. If your are thinking of adding one it will not provide ant added protection
 
The tank is aluminum and the interior is coated with pure aluminum. Only use a plastic drain plug, other metals will react with the aluminum and slowly destroy the tank by galvanic action.
