Water in generator

I left my funnel in the gas tank to my generator. It rained. Got water in my generator tank. Didn?t know it until I couldn?t get my generator started. Ug. Now what?  Any help appreciated. Jan

Is the generator an Onan built in an RV or is it a portable generator?

Gotta drain the yank somehow and try to clean out the fuel lines as well. Then add some fresh fuel plus dry gas to catch the remainder.

Option 1 Drain tank and carburetor Refill with E-10 (Not marine gas)  E-10 will absorb water and burn it

Option 2  As above but marine gas and Dry gas 1-2 Percent

What is Dry Gas.> Well the "E" in E-10.. Same chemical.
