water pump

After filling my fresh water tank and turning on the pump.  Water is pumping out the external city watter connection.  I have no internal pressure at the sinks or shower.  any ideas?

There is a check valve built into the city water inlet and it is apparently stuck open.  Remove the little screen filter in the inlet and the check valve can probably be freed up by just tapping it with your finger.  Put the screen back when finished.

Edit:  If all else fails, you can plug the city water inlet temporarily to get water pressure.  The city water inlet is not too difficult to replace should it be necessary.
