Over the years I've been on autopilot switching between time zones, especially international. On a personal note, we still have family in the UK, and I had customers & employees in the UK and Europe. I had customers, suppliers and employees in Japan & Asia. So, on the phone or on visits, I usually switched between time zones without thinking about it. But the one that usually trips me up once or twice a year is the UK changing to/from summer time a few weeks from the US changing.
Today is the first day of British summer time (BST). But, on both sides of the pond, some folks continue to be confused about which way to change their clocks (do folks still have clocks?) This humorous interview recorded in the streets of Aberdare showed folks unsure:
Simple translation:
ymlaen = forward (gwanwyn ymlaen = spring forward)
yn ol = back (disgyn yn ôl = fall back)
