However, the RV Forum rally corresponds with the week the Big Tent is open and is when the peak crowds descend on Quartzsite. The LTVA dump station reflects this. There are 8 water spigots but only 2 dump lanes so you can get water without too much of a wait but the dump station line can be a half hour or more. The weeks before and after the Big Tent (and our rally) the dump station wait is much more reasonable.I'd add that in the area where the forum folks stay, that $40 buys access to the fresh water/dump area east of hwy 95, so you can extend even longer if/when you wish.
The well water at the LTVA dump station and throughout Quartzsite is technically potable and is fine for washing, etc. but like most desert water it contains lots of minerals and doesn't taste very good. I bring some empty Arizona Ice Tea gallon jugs and get my drinking water from one of the many coin-operated kiosks in town. They're made out of thick plastic with screw on lids and are very durable.
