What is this light for ?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an RV or an interest in RVing!

That's such a closeup picture that it's hard to be sure, but it could be a clearance light that comes on with the headlights (could be an amber bulb under the lens), or it could be a utility light intended to light things up at night near the water bay, power plug in or other things needed at night.

Perhaps a clue to what coach you have might help someone identify it, too, perhaps putting information into your signature as many of us have done.

My Winnebago has something similar. They call it a docking light. I don't drive at night so I've never used it.

Those all sound reasonable - it is near the power is connected and the water and sewer connection. Not sure where there is a switch to turn it on if I wanted to - thanks everyone !

With that wider picture, it does appear to be a docking light.
If it was a docking light I would assume there would also be one on the other side yet the op doesn’t mention anything about another light. Maybe they could tell us.
