Very good! It is a western DB, just an unusual pattern.

But not as unusual as the one I saw in ABQ, NM

This is the hatband snake, popular out here.

Cotton Lane Resort. We stayed there many times, far enough from Phoenix so that traffic wasn't crazy, close enough for all the doc appts we had. It was only a couple miles from where our son lived.

We liked it. There is another place at the end of Cotton Lane on Citrus we looked at, but felt it was crowded.

Red next to Yellow can kill a fellow, Red next to Black you might get back. I think that's how it went but that one has both.

Thats what I was taught, when we lived in GA. Coral snakes down that way have adjacent red and yellow bands.

Best bet is to not mess with them if you dont know for sure.
