A 2+ month trip from MN to New England. That seems challenging with our 38' 5th wheel.

We'd also like to plan some shorter trips In MN, WI, Il, or possibly IA.

Let me know if anyone is interested in meeting up in any of these locations.

We will more than likely make a run to Wisconsin as soon as RV parks/campgrounds are open along the way. Mom passed away on 1-5, house is a mess, and siblings and I will have a daunting task of cleanup. Will plan on staying a couple maybe 3 weeks, take stock on what to do with the property, nobody as of today has gotten possession of a Will or a Trust, so we all are in the dark, as to what Mom’s desires were.

We've got our usual long weekends planned - 9 so far stating in mid-May and going through to Columbus Day weekend. Some just the two of us, some with friends. We also take one longer trip in July, 7-10 days or so. Have not decided what that will be yet. Already counting the days to warmer weather! This is the first year we've not stored our camper at home - strange not having it there but also sort of nice that we don't have to stare at it all covered in snow and not being used. :p

If she had a lawyer, check there. That's a bad state in which to be; it also reminds me DW and I need to give a copy of ours to our kids.

Florida, Raleigh, and Virginia will start in late February to mid-April. Finger Lakes region of NY in May for a couple of weeks, and a couple of nearby state parks we haven't been to in a couple of years in June. July takes us to Lake Placid, NY. We go every year, just love the area. This year will be even better because we'll get to really use our new E-bikes on the 26-mile bike trail that starts behind our campground. Our visit there last year had a huge influence on us buying the bikes. We may add to this trip and head up to Maine. Starting in September, just after our twin grandkids' birthday Sept. 04, we'll head West towards New Mexico and Arizona to take in as much as we can in the two states. Heading back, we'll stop at Big Bend NP in Texas. From there, it'll then mostly be overnights to get back home. We usually finish our camping season back in the Finger Lakes for Columbus Day Wknd, and our last trip out just before Halloween at Robert Treman SP in Ithaca, NY.

Of course, God willing, and RV willing too!

I don't like plans. I only do those when I must.

I did not plan to come here and I certainly did not expect to stay here for a month when I first arrived.

I didn't even know this place existed when I left home.

Your post makes me think of two things: (1) We have not been to Letchworth in a couple of years - won't make it this year but maybe next year. (2) We have been to Lake Placid but only in the winter. Will have to put that on the list, too! What campground do you stay at?

We don't have any real plans for the year yet, we will likely do some shorter trips this year within about a 500 mile radius of home, not sure exactly where or what yet. My wife as a few big projects going on at work, which will make it hard for her to be away for more than a few days at a time, also we tend to do a big RV trip every other year, and last summer was a 3,700 mile, 5 week long trip from Louisiana to Yellowstone and back, at least it was for me, my wife flew up and met me for 2 weeks of it in Wyoming, and I did the rest solo.

Yes you are definitely Adventurous. We'll probably be in touch with your for recommendations for NY and Maine. How many miles and stops do you estimate you'll do this year"

I hope to spend about a week in West Virginia. I'll need to get more chewables for my GF who has terminable leukemia. She has enough for a couple more weeks. I've already found someone to take over my care duties for the week. No BLM land there, but lots of Forest Service land to boondock. I've now got 8 kilowatts of battery storage which should be more than enough even if the sun doesn't shine very much. AND, there's always my generator.

Unfortunately, none of us siblings know what attorney Mom used. As of today, no lawyers in the area will not acknowledge or deny that Mom was a client, until the death certificate from the County is presented to them. Still waiting on that.
We don’t know for certain where a will or trust(if there is) is stored. If it’s somewhere in the house, it could be 6 months until that is uncovered.

Starting in February we have a 9 week, 9 State trip from CT to the Keys, over to Alabama and then head back north. 2 multi week trips to a CT State Park in June and July sandwiched around a 3 day trip to The Briggs Farm Blues Fest in PA and a late season trip to a State Park in RI in early Oct

Two month trip from CA to WI . . .

From Arkansas out to the eastern Sierras in April and back to Arkansas in November. Depending on the weather I may make a stop in Colorado on my way past in April.
