Pretend I am allergic to air compressors. ::)  What is the best place to take my trailer to top off the tires with air?

Depends on the PSI in the tires. 60 or less, anywhere that has an air compressor. I do not like the "Feed in coins" type as they are too slow

Over 60 PSI, Truck Islands at Truck Stops. often 150-200 PSI in the line.

I carry a 150 PSI 6 gallon portable myself.. Way easier than finding high pressure air. And it does so much more than just blow up tires.. (Tires, Jacks, Wrenches, Cutter, Sander, Hammer, and more)

John, which compressor do you carry.  Ive been thinking of one to avoid using the coach compressor.

Thanks

Bob

Truck stops or tire shops. The compressors at quick stop type places can be very slow, and may not produce enough pressure to fully inflate your tires.

All tho I have a large air compressor at home in the shop, I got one of these, Fini 1.2-Gallon Portable Electric Hot Dog Air Compressor. I haven't had the occasion to use it yet, thank God, I feel confident it will do the job. Plus it stores very easily under the bed as it lays flat.
