Why do sellers…………….

Wife was in contact with another potential seller yesterday, then this text message came to her phone; ‘I have no problem hooking everything up, if you bring cash and buy the rig, otherwise it’s a waste of my time’.

Respond with I'll bring cash, and if everything works and we WANT to buy it, we will.

Sellers should just make it a non issue. Some water in the tank, a charged battery and either a power outlet or a generator to demo the 110 system.

I bought a used air conditioner for my camper, the seller had a genset we could connect to and run it, along with a temp sensor to measure output. Demoing proper working condition should be a given, not an imposition.

Is he saying that he’ll hook everything back up after you buy it? I would never do that. If he will only hook it up after you buy it, I would walk.
Or is he saying by you having the cash in front of his nose he’ll hook it up.

Not sure, but it is a hard pass.

Wife and I took a Chinook for a drive yesterday, insides were very nice, all appliances worked, except the furnace would not light, blower worked. 183,000miles on the chassis, as soon as we got on the road, those miles sure were evident. That E-350 rattled like a bucket of bolts in a clothes dryer. Seller asking $12,500.00

I drove 12 hours to look at one, I arrive and both the chassis and house batteries were dead as a door nail. It was a dealership!

Chinooks are an in demand RV. Many are small enough to be used as a daily driver. We had a guy at work who drove one almost every day.

Suspension can be fixed and improved with the many mods people do to them, so it all depends on the money and the age.
