New to RVing and therefore also new to Winnebago. I read the entire owners manual and I'm still a little confused. My understanding was that the in dash radio could be played while parked by selecting 'Aux' on the Radio switch marked 'Main' on one side and 'Aux' on the other. Is there something else I need to do?

Not sure about "main" and "aux."  My 2003 coach has a switch on the dash marked "Radio" with "Engine" or "House" positions ? designating which battery bank I want to power the radio. My "Aux" switch is a "mom" type switch that I have to hold in the "boost" position to bridge the battery banks if one is low enough that it needs a jump, when released it returns to normal.

Thanks, afchap! I think  your Radio Engine/House switch is equivalent to my Radio Main/Aux. They must have changed the nomenclature to avoid confusion. I figured out what my problem was. Before switching the radio to Aux, I needed to first turn the main Aux. switch to 'On'. Once I did that, voila!

Glad you figured it out!  There is another little oddity in my radio system with the surround sound.  My radio speakers are small Bose units mounted near the ceiling in the front and rear corners of the main cabin, plus a couple of subwoofers one up front down beside the driver seat and one under the refrigerator. There is a hidden rocker switch in the right front overhead cabinet against the outer wall the I think is marked TV and Radio or something like that.  It took awhile to learn that if I turn the radio on and all the lights come on but no sound, that switch is in the TV position, and of course there is no way to reach that switch from the driver's seat!!  The TV has sound with that switch in either position because it has internal speakers, but is MUST be set to Radio for the dash radio to have sound.

Main and Aux are consistent with the names often used for the two 12v systems in a motorhome. MAIN refers to the chassis/engine 12v system and its associated battery. AUX refers to the house 12v system and its batteries.  You may have battery disconnects and emergency start switches with labels like that as well.

Good engineering practice is to use consistent names for a function wherever it appears, but sometimes common practice trumps that, even if a common name is flat wrong.

LOL Paul - sounds like the switch placement was an 'oops' afterthought. I have that same switch but it's on the dash near the radio.
