Winnebago Vista 21B info

I ran across a 2002 Vista on Craig's List and it looks interesting.  Especially the VW connection and anticipated MPG.  Can anybody tell me the years this model was made (looks like just a few years in the early 2000's) and if the VW chassis and engine work as well as they might.  Looks like the MPG is almost as good as the Mercedes diesel in the Sprinter but much cheaper.  The ones I've seen are in the $20,000 - $25,000 range.
Thanks for any help or comments that would make me more educated on the product line.

you could go to www.winnebagoind.com and bring up specs and brochures on pdf files.  I think I saw them in 2003 at a RV show so I would guess 2001 -2004.  Dick nvrver

Thanks Dick.  I did as you suggested and that is helpful.  And you are correct that the 21B was made from 2002-2004.

I was hoping for some real life experiences from people who have one, or had one.  I am curious whether the VW chassis and engine perform well and what mileage people are getting.  Or did get.
