Yea John but that Bird can fly to higths that a  cat can't keep up.  You never know what might happen in a series likethis.  Both teams have totally different makeup and both Managers are superb and know one another like a book.  This should be one heck of a series.  Just thrilled to death that the 2 crybaby NY teams are at home.  Can't stand them anymore than the Cubs.  Any of the rest of the teams in both leagues that win is fine with me. Only a Bird fan cause I only lived 12 miles from their stadium, same for the RAMs and the Blues.  Used to have Season tickets to all when we could write them off on taxes,  when that ceased so did our tickets.  Good luck to the Tigers and Cards.  One thing you will find is it will be a game played the way it's supposed to be played.  I'll take the Cards and wager a drink,  how's that?

You have clearly never seen my pair-o-cats go after a flying insect have you.... Poor flying thing does not stand a chance.

Or you can just listen to Peter and the Wolf.  I prefer the Aundre Previn narration, or the guy from Crocodile Duneee

(Depending on if I want a straight narration or a funny one)

MAn  those cats must be straving right now  LOL  Good games

Let's see a Cardnal is a bird.

A Tiger is a cat

And you know what a cat says when it sees a bird on the ground right?

"Hello Lunch"

John:

Just watched the Tuesday night game.

"Cat" is looking a little scrawny, must be missing lunch. ;D ;D

I can't wait to see Kenny Rodgers pitch again.  He is the most enthusiastic, charged up, fist pumping ole farte I have ever seen on a basbeall mound.

Even if he does have dirty hands.

We seems to be finding out which one swims better, anyway!

It is not well known, but cats are excellent swimmers

They just prefer dry land to water

So, what stroke do you think a cat uses when it swims?

Not much concentration on fundamentals, either....

What are your picks for next year? (Besides the Cubs in N.L., who are Always going to do it "next year" -- I grew up a Cubs fan.)

I think the only team that has won as many following year championships as the Cubs is the football Cardinals. I've been a Cubs fan all my life, always have, alway will. Only problem is that I now live where the Cardinals are the local team :-[ :'(

Heck for year s  where we lived we had the Baseball Cardinals  Champs that they are, and the football Cardinals, until The mayor of St louis at the time didn't like Mr Bidwell and shot every proposal Bidwell tried, down the tubes.  But Mr Bidwell got the final laugh, whenthey refused to allow him to build a stadium and racetrack in the bottoms and they stopped him by saying it was a flood plane. So Mr Bidwell sold that graound and some on the other side of the Missouri River to a casino and they loss out in St Louis county and St Louis itself.  he got a bundle for it too.  HEHEHE  I loved it.      So then they paid a bundle to get the Rams, but at least they showered us with a Championship a few years back and now the Baseball Cards    I'm Loving it.
