The only time I actually cook inside our RV is when the weather is too terrible outside to tolerate (or feel safe). So, one of my "must haves" for our new RV was an outdoor kitchen -which I got. It's a fridge, sink, drawer and shelf storage, a slide-out work space in front of the fridge -pretty much what I wanted and probably about all to expect for our price range on the Winnebago.
But there was a big television mounted on a bracket that pulled out on a swivel that was taking up way too much space in there. What I really wanted to do was put my camp stove and small toaster oven in there. There was a space for pots/pans and a drawer for utensils, but nothing else with that TV in the way. Why put a television in an outdoor kitchen?
So, I took that sucker out, bracket included -took about 5 minutes. Now there is room for my camp stove, toaster oven, and even a plastic tub for washing dishes (I'll use the sink for rinsing to keep food out of my gray system as much as possible). And there is still plenty of room for other things -a shelf or rack for some 750ml bottles for sure, I'll think of something for the rest of the space.
Now, what to do with that TV and bracket? Target practice, maybe? 8)
