Yosemite Valley closed, evacuations underway due to Ferguson wildfire

Yosemite officials are evacuating visitors from Yosemite Valley as the growing Ferguson wildfire approaches the west side of the park, impacting air quality and threatening to close Highway 41.  The park will be closed from noon Wednesday through at least Sunday.

Well that sucks

Western wildfires are rarely pleasant.  Sucked when we were evacuated from our home years ago, too, but the alternative can be fatal.
