I searched and didn't find it - tried advanced search and library - I know this has been discussed a lot -
I need a PDF manual for my Dometic 2804 fridge.

Here is the Diagnostic and Service manual. I could not find a free users Manual but you can buy one for $9.99 here.

It appears the 2804 is not a current model

That said,  Not much changes from model to model

And if you pick up one of the generic RV-Owner's Handbooks (That happens to be the title of one of them, the other is The RV Book) you may just find what you need in there... any RV store should have one or the other
 
thanks much. I have a repairman coming over to have a look - wanted to be armed with as much as I could get to try and help.
strange symptom - turning the gas switch on, the interior light of the fridge comes on, but the little yellow light does not always light up. same has happened before, but I always end up getting it to work - just frustrating.

You might have someone turn on the gas ignition while you gently tap the igniter box outside. We had an earlier Dometic that would have a bad connection every once in awhile (probably due to corrosion). The gentle persuasion always seemed to work.

got my fridge fixed yesterday - and generator starter kit.
the problems I had had with my fridge not wanting to start on gas (interior light would come on, but not yellow light for ignition) - was igniter board.
for folks in west Phoenix area, I found a terrific mobile rv + auto repairman - Jeff Wood, with Palm Valley Auto and Rv.
he comes to you, and is an rv owner himself. He knows his stuff, and is very reasonable -
highly recommended. I know I have a new mechanic now, and can stop worrying about who will fix something the next time I need rv repair.
thanks again for your help - I forwarded all the repair manuals to him, and he said that they confirmed his suspicions of the igniter board as the source of the fridge problem.
