Class C coach battery and Generator

My Ground is connected to the chassis, it was a little loose, tightened it an all works good. I would guess my inline fuse is the breakers at the converter, didnt find any other in line fuse. I thank you guys that have been doing this for a long time. Your knowledge is greatly appreciated.

Class C coach battery and Generator

I have a 1990 Itasca class 'c' . My question is if your are dry camping and are using your genset to run the coach ie AC, microwave etc. . At night so you dont have to hear the genset and just need the coach battery for water pump lights, does the converter switch it automatically or is their  a...

2009 Itasca 35J with Ford V10- how many quarts of oil required?

Oil is always a big debate. I have several Ford Triton engines. If you are out of warranty, I would step up the viscosity of the oil with the work these engines do. 5-30 or 10-30 would give you more protection. They engineered these with light oil to meet the Government Standards on pollution...

    Toilet Replacement

I have a 90 Itasica Class C. I am going to replace the toilet with a new China type. I have read that older RV's have a 4 bolt style toilet. The new type are 2 bolts. For anyone that has done this, is their a adapter  from 4 to 2 bolts, or do you need to replace the flange? Your help and ideas...

Two of the four flourescent lights in our MH kitchen don't work......

12v systems are very hard on the life of fluorescent bulbs. If the ends of the bulbs are black then you need to replace both bulbs in each fixture. Some older fixtures may have a starter to help the bulbs light. If you have that type, the bulbs will flicker before they start, if not, the starter...

Popping sounds coming from under coach as we move around

Also check the jack mounts, maybe one is loose. I would also check to see if where the coach mounts on the frame if there is any kind of bushing, shim mounting that may be loose or missing. Sometimes you just have to be under the RV when it happens and luck out to find the problem.

    Duracell AGM Batteries

My experiences with dry cell batteries is that they will fail around two years of use. I have had better luck with wet, 6-8 years with out any problems.

Ok guys how hard to get around

As long as the A/C Clutch and compressor are ok, then a fix could be a hose replacement at the worst, a loose fitting at the least, recharge W/ new type of freon- $150-500 repair. Not to bad. My cost $125.00 to replace fitting and recharge.
