Papadude, I went to the GM factory site (sign in) and entered my VIN for the build sheet. Also you can go  to any GM dealer and ask them to download it for you. For those who question my numbers, the info is from the build sheet and yellow sticker.

Sticker says payload 2,412lbs.

I would be concerned about "mold". You have no idea how long this situation has been going on. You will be in a closed area where you will be exposed to it day in and day out.

Consider the new Goodyear Endurance line. They are the only ST tire now made in the USA.  As they are new not much history yet, however they are D & E load rated. I just replaced my Westlake tires (China made) with these US made.

Tongue weight of a Grand Design TT is not realistic. The specs of my GD 2150 said the tongue weight was 412lbs. After adding 2 batteries, 2 propane tanks WDH and all the stuff you need less water my tongue weight was 770lbs. The TT your looking at is bigger thus will have a higher tongue weight.

Depending the size, weight, payload etc your 5th wheel is, you may require a diesel vs a gas engine.  Let us know the specs of your 5th wheel and we can give more accurate advice. Generally speaking a diesel engine is not broken in until around 50k miles.
