    1977 Winnebago Elandan 29' Sway Bar/Shocks/Air bags

Good that's similar to what I was thinking as the bushings still look good, none are cracked or missing pieces. The shocks do looks old and well if they are Monroe's then they are definitely not a good HD shock like a Bilstein. Thanks for the feedback.

    1977 Winnebago Elandan 29' Sway Bar/Shocks/Air bags

Just went outside and took a look, was just some mud... Good eye though it does look like a crack in that picture.

    1977 Winnebago Elandan 29' Sway Bar/Shocks/Air bags

I looked over all the leafs closely and none appear to be cracked, but just to see what you mean which picture are you referring to?

    1977 Winnebago Elandan 29' Sway Bar/Shocks/Air bags

Just got under the rv and measured both the front and rear sway bars with my caliper they are both 1-3/16. Also took measurements of the bushings to try to match them up, came across a website Energy Suspension, lots of different sizes but nothing that would work as a direct replacement. Any...

    1977 Winnebago Elandan 29' Sway Bar/Shocks/Air bags

Just upgraded our Class C to a Class A, had a full inspection done on the unit, did a few things to bring it up to par, valve cover gaskets, plugs, filters, replaced the steering coupler and did an alignment. During the alignment they had to add some shims to the front axle as there was...

    Coleman A/C Fan

Denny Thank you for the help. So I just tried spinning it backwards and yes it does kick in and pick up speed going the wrong direction so then the start winding is out. How do I repair the start winding?

    Coleman A/C Fan

I have a 77 Winnebago with 2 Coleman A/C's a Mach I and a Mach III. The back one works good but the front A/C fan does not kick in unless I give it a spin with my hand before turning it on, then it works fine. The motor spins easily and does not make any sounds to make me think it is the...

Breaker Panel & Air Conditioner Power

Think I may have just found the answer, I took a closer look at the wiring diagram on the breaker panel cover, and it looks like shore power will only power the left breakers. If running on the generator it actually provides 2 legs of 120v, one for the right breakers, and one for the left (once...

Breaker Panel & Air Conditioner Power

It looks as though the shore power hooks into the left side and the generator hooks into the right. I tested the right side with a multimeter and no power when plugged in to shore, left side showed 115v. Left has 80A worth of breakers and right has 35A. I am able to get the front a/c to run if I...

Breaker Panel & Air Conditioner Power

Have an older 77 Winnebago Elandan 29 foot class A Dodge chassis, just picked it a month ago, doing some things to get it ready to go. The breaker panel has 6 breakers, the three on the right don't have any power when I am plugged in. One of these happens to be the front Air Conditioner and I...

    Air Bags

I believe ADDCO makes a rear anti-sway bar for my Dodge B300 cutaway motorhome. I think what I will endup doing both the sway bar and the bags, but probably going to try the bags first just to see what the result is. Thanks everyone for your input and suggestions.

    Air Bags

Took it into the local suspension shop today, they just took a look at it and say the rear suspension looks good. They said if I want to make it more stable and improve the ride quality that they can put some Firestone air bags in it. I mentioned a sway bar but the guy said the bags would give a...

    Air Bags

So I pulled the motorhome into my front driveway which is a cement pad so it is for sure level. I checked each of the back wheels to see if one looked to be tucked higher up into the wheel well. Turns out I must have been on uneven ground each time I noticed the passenger rear looking a bit more...
