    Winterizing with a Flojet pump

I blew out the lines last year.  My problem this year is that I don't have power where my TT is stored so I cannot run my compressor.

    Winterizing with a Flojet pump

I thought I finally had an easy project.  But NOOO!  I purchased this kit to winterize my '17 2520RL.  I like it because I can leave it connected and just flip a valve to go from winterize to normal use.  However, the Flojet pump has quick connect fittings, not the NPT threads.  Flojet makes an...

    NC to Gettysburg

What Robert said!  We have made frequent trips from York to Richmond and always use 17.  US15 will then take you right to Gettysburg.

Plattekill, NY to Gettysburg, PA to Elizabethtown, KY

You would probably have better luck than I did on I68 as you are quite a bit lighter.  We have been the entire length of Pennsylvania on Rte 30 though on a motorcycle not pulling a camper.  It is four lanes all the way so if you are slow you can hang out with the trucks in the right lane.  Rte...

Plattekill, NY to Gettysburg, PA to Elizabethtown, KY

I live in southern PA and have traveled to Gettysburg many, many times.  Route 30 to 81 is not a problem.  US15 to I70 works well too.  I would not recommend the short cut through Catoctin mountains (MD77) beautiful drive but some very sharp curves.  I68 has some pretty steep grades.  Our 2014...

    Lancaster/Hershey Recommendations?

Starlite is nice.  There are several nice campgrounds here.  I would recommend calling for reservations - that may limit your choices.

    Back up camera

We purchased this one and use a cell phone mount that hangs from the rear view mirror.  Easy to install.  It's on all the time which is nice for lane changes! ...

Need advice from the forum's brilliant Weight Gurus

Some folks much wiser than I will undoubtedly speak up.  IMHO, a 1/2 ton will not safely tow that 5W.  I  picked up a '17 3500HD for less than the 2500 we went to look at.  I can safely tow just about anything that my co-pilot and I would be interested in.  I am looking for a video I saw...

    Any Skywatchers?

Just bought my first "real" telescope, a Celestron 130.  We are looking forward to getting out under some dark skies to see what we can see!  Anyone else enjoying star gazing?

    Balto-Washington Parkway

Hi all!  We're looking forward to our first outing of the year in a couple of weeks.  We're heading to Point Lookout State Park in Maryland.  I've driven the Baltimore-Washington Parkway many times without a camper.  But, I have never been aware of it's camper-friendliness.  Can anyone tell me...

Money in the bank and you don't even pay for it if you fold your money in the shape of the pyramid that's printed on the back!

    RV nicknames?

We've been struggling with finding an appropriate name. We pull our Passport with our Sierra, Sally. Jessie Jeep waits in the driveway. We traded Reba Wrangler for Sally. Jenny Jeep preceded Jessie. Our son drives Patsy the Patriot. I'm going to go put a K-Cup in Kelly and a couple slices of...
