Actually it is a Norcold 682. A mobile RV guy who happens to be staying a few sites over from us saw me fooling around with it outside and came over to take a look. Although there is no sign of ammonia or of any leakage, he says its the cooling unit. Everything else is operating properly. It...
No signs or smell of ammonia. There is no cooling at all happening. My wife tells me all was fine at 3:00 PM yesterday but we noticed the problem at about 7:00 PM. If cooling unit failed would it just all of sudden quit cooling at all? Anything else it could possibly be?
I think my model is a 641 if this helps. The fridge is not cooling all of a sudden. Everything fine as recently as this morning. The freezer is still frozen but this may be because it only quit cooling today. No problems with indicator lights on eyebrow panel. Will light on propane or run...
If it is indeed the fuse that is mentioned in the previous post, you will have no interior light inside the fridge. I have the same fridge and no light in the fridge when opening the door was the symptom that led me to this fuse. It indeed was blown. I am not sure the fridge would work at...
My best guess is that you have a check valve stuck closed. I have had these symptoms before and this was the problem. You probably have a check valve on the cold water inlet and one on the hot water outlet of the water heater. Getting to them can be fun. They will be on the rear of the water...
I checked all 12V fuses and they were all fine. Unless there is a hidden fuse or fuselink somewhere in the rear of the water heater(cramped space) I am thinking that is not the problem. Any more suggestions?
I just noticed my hot water heater (Atwood 6 Gallon DSI) would not light on propane. I have a Hott Rodd installed and I hardly ever use the propane mode anymore. A couple months ago (last time I checked) it worked fine. When I hit the switch, I get nothing. Not even the "Pilot Out"...
Add me to the "Rhino Leak" camp. Can't make it go away. Have tried everything. Not bad enough I can't live with it, but I like everything to be perfect... NO LEAKS!!
I have a similar problem. It doesn't happen all the time. I assume its just based on the load getting unbalanced. I would love to come up with a way to fix it. Will be keeping an eye on this thread.
They aren't cheap. It just would seem a waste to have my 17 year old radiator removed, cleaned and re-installed. Maybe I am wrong. I really just want it cleaned.
Yes, I kept the rps's up. Several months before this trip I tried to clean the radiator from under the bed using simple green and a water hose. Its just really hard to get to everything with the fan and shroud in the way. I am leaning toward just paying them to clean the radiator and seeing...
From Maryland to Chattanooga, TN we ran hot twice climbing mountain in Virginia. We had to pull over twice because the warning light and buzzer came on. When idling at high rpm after pulling over the temp came back down quickly. From Chattanooga to Texas the temp would rise when pulling any...
Just called them to try and get appointment to get some maintenance done. Asked them about cleaning my rear radiator.(We ran hotter than normal on our recent trip from Maryland to Texas). They said they could try and clean it, but it probably wouldn't do much good because of the way everything...
It appears for whatever reason, my softener doesn't have enough resin. Watts is sending me new resin. It should be here any day. They will walk me through adding the resin and hopefully that will solve the problem. Will post results with the new resin.
